Attorney Profile

Matt Boggan was born in Kansas City, Kansas, where he called home until graduating high school in 1986.  He then moved to Miami, Florida, and attended the University of Miami, earning a BA in Creative Writing in 1991. Dissatisfied with his experience as a "starving artist," he came to East Tennessee, where he earned an MS in counseling from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in 1994.  After working for several years as a consultant to the physically disabled and their care providers, Matt decided to attend the University of Tennessee College of Law for his JD.  He is now a licensed trial attorney serving the residents of Knox and surrounding counties.   In his leisure time he enjoys listening to music, reading, going to the movies, dining out, entertaining and travel.
